Description
A BDSM hood covering the head. Total sensory deprivation is intense in a way that surprises people – it is not simply a bigger blindfold.
Good for
- Experienced players comfortable with sensory deprivation
- Scenes built on disorientation and anonymity
Worth knowing
Breathing comes first, always. Only ever use a hood with clear, unobstructed openings for the nose and mouth, and check them before it goes on. Never combine a hood with a gag unless you are highly experienced and have a reliable non-verbal signal. Never leave someone hooded alone, not even briefly. Stop immediately at any breathing difficulty, panic or nausea – and expect panic to be more likely than with a blindfold.
