Restraints & Bondage

Cuffs, rope, under-bed systems and spreader bars — everything for holding someone still, in materials from soft and forgiving to genuinely unyielding.

Choosing your first restraints

Padded wrist cuffs with a clip are the usual starting point: quick to get on, quick to get off, and comfortable enough to stay in for a while. Under-bed systems are the practical answer if you don’t have a bed frame to work with. Rope looks wonderful and is the cheapest option by far, but it’s a skill — budget some practice time before the main event.

The safety bit, briefly

Have a way out. Quick-release clips on cuffs, safety shears within reach if you’re using rope, and a safeword you’ve both agreed beforehand — or a non-verbal signal if a gag is involved.

Check circulation regularly: cold fingers, numbness or colour change means loosen now, not in a minute. Nothing goes around the neck. And nobody gets left tied and alone, however briefly you mean it to be.

Comfort matters more than you’d think

Wide, padded cuffs spread pressure and let someone stay put for far longer than thin straps. If you’re planning long scenes, that’s where the money is best spent.

Discreet as standard

Plain, unbranded packaging and a card statement that gives nothing away.
